The Esports Combine™ Signs David Gugliotti as Director of Collegiate Experience

Former University of Oregon esports director joins esports analytics company

FRANKLIN, IN – September 23, 2020 –  Indiana Esports Development LLC. has today announced the hiring of David Gugliotti, the esports program pioneer at the University of Oregon, as the company’s new Director of Collegiate Experience. For his first task, he will take a leading role in The Esports Combine™ and be responsible for creating a collegiate and university experience within the event that helps address the unique needs of scholastic institutions with esports programs of all shapes and sizes.  

Gugliotti will use his strengths to build relationships with college coaches, recruiters, scouts, and administrators and help them understand the value of the Combine and how their respective esports programs can benefit from participation. He will lean heavily on his previous experience as an esports director to ensure all event attendees achieve their desirable goals.  

David was hired by the University of Oregon as its inaugural Director of Esports to develop the university’s entire esports program including responsibility for creating for-credit classes, winning championships among the six varsity level teams, held more than 15 community engagement events, formulate UO esports branding and IP to secure sponsors, Twitch broadcasts, foster an open and inclusive community with over 1,000 members, and establish experiential learning opportunities for the students.
